The £2,000,000 full Design & Build contract was awarded to Datum Construction London
after a rigorous tender process that was run by PBC (Project & Building Consultancy). Spanning two floors, the works included some significant structural alterations and the inclusion of a new feature staircase.

Full Design and Build of End of Trip Facility Tower 42, Old Broad Street EC2N

Located in the heart of the City of London between Bank and Liverpool Street
stations, Tower 42 is an internationally recognised landmark providing superior office accommodation.

Looking to elevate the building’s amenities to Best in Class, Tower 42 Estate appointed Datum Construction London. Recognised for their forward thinking management and proven, problem solving track record, Datum Construction were selected to complete the design and build the new End of Trip facility.

Case Study: Office Refit, Tower 42, Old Broad Street

With amazing views across the city of London, the iconic tower 42 was recognised as the tallest building in the United Kingdom upon it’s completion in 1980. Know more commonly as the NatWest Tower, the building held the status as the tallest building in the City of London for 30 years.

Datum Construction were delighted to carry out the refit of two office spaces comprising of three phases; a soft strip, full refit and the provision of a final furnishing package to complete the works.
